This role forms part of the Mint Wellness team within the Village n Life hospitality group.
The Role
As a Spa Receptionist you’ll be the first point of contact for spa guests, creating a warm welcome and ensuring smooth booking and front desk operations. You’ll support the therapists by managing schedules, maintaining records and ensuring the spa runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome clients and manage bookings at the spa front desk
– Confirm appointments and ensure daily control sheets are accurate
– Manage product orders and stocktaking at month-end
– Submit therapist summary reports and prepare weekly and monthly rosters
– Maintain and update the spa database
– Support therapists by managing salon cleanliness and operational standards
– Assist with reporting on treatments and product sales
What We’re Looking For
– Grade 12 or equivalent
– Reception experience in a spa or wellness centre (advantageous)
– Beauty Therapy Certificate or Somatology Diploma (advantageous)
– MS Office, Excel and Opera knowledge essential
– Excellent client service, communication and organisational skills
– Motivated self-starter with attention to detail
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
– Team player with a goal-oriented approach
