This role forms part of the Sales team within the Village n Life hospitality group.
The Role
As Senior Technical & Distribution Co-ordinator, you’ll oversee the smooth functioning of our booking and distribution systems. You’ll manage rate loading, system connectivity and reporting across all channels, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and reliability. This senior role provides crucial technical support to the sales department and ensures that Village n Life Hotels remains seamlessly connected to the world of travel.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage rate loading and distribution across Opera, Nightsbridge, Siteminder, GDS, Tourplan and other platforms
– Maintain and troubleshoot API connections to distribution partners
– Build and update packages, room types and features across Opera/PMS and channel managers
– Investigate and resolve reservation failures, implementing avoidance measures
– Upload images, update dashboards and ensure accuracy of property facts across B2B, B2C and brand channels
– Prepare monthly account reconciliations for suppliers and commission packs
– Compile history and forecast reports for the group
– Support the Tech & Distribution Manager with projects and quick turnaround tasks
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of special offers, promotions, and system features
What We’re Looking For
– Grade 12 or equivalent
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality distribution, channel management or reservations technology
– Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot distribution issues
– High attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
– Professional, reliable and service-oriented team player
– Proficiency in Opera/PMS, Nightsbridge, Siteminder and other distribution platforms preferred
